Second Deputy President of Saccawu, Mike Tau says Hungry Lion, OK, House and Home, Shoprites and Usave are some of the stores that will be affected.

The main issue is around where the company has unilaterally changed working conditions of permanent employees. The other issue is the company’s refusal to provide safe and reliable transport for its employees.

The certificate to strike was issued as early as October. We thought once the company has received the certificate they will see the seriousness of the matter but they turned a blind eye.
